Shinner & Sudtone has been a fixture of Sutton high street for ten glorious years – and last weekend the local community came out in force, to celebrate the pub’s anniversary!
An absolute gem of a Pub and one with the biggest range of beers you did ever see. Well done to Aaron and his team who really made sure that the weekend was one big celebration, with weeks of planning going into making it as special as possible.
They marked the occasion with a tap takeover from local brewery Drop Project, located a few miles away in Mitcham. Sophie and Mack from the brewery dropped by to meet customers and discuss their signature brews!
There was live music throughout the weekend, including a Friday night DJ and local band playing on Saturday – and the weekend wrapped up with a one-off lamb Sunday Roast special.
The pub organised a bumper charity raffle, to raise money for The Royal Marsden. Local business donated a heap of prizes – and the pub extends enormous thanks to Flowerscents florist, ORU Wellbeing, Snappy Snaps, The Projekt Store, Casa Nostra restaurant, Dawson’s Shoe Repairs, M. Manze pie & mash, The Sound Lounge, Sutton Community Dance, Greggs, Sammie’s Studio, Encanto Kitchen, Black Box Tattoo, Sutton Music Centre, Masseys Antiques, Pure Gym and Fabrowlash.
Sutton showed up in force to celebrate ten years of Shinner & Sudtone – here’s to another ten fantastic years!
